About this consent. This consent covers general PRP therapy applications such as facial rejuvenation, joint injection, scar treatment, hair restoration (general), and other non-trademarked PRP uses. For trademarked Vampire® procedures (Vampire Facelift®, Vampire Facial®, Vampire Hair Restoration®, O-Shot®, Vampire Breast Lift®), separate CMA-specific consents apply.
Description of Procedure
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is prepared from a small sample of my own blood. PRP contains a concentrated population of platelets and growth factors thought to support tissue healing, regeneration, and collagen stimulation.
The procedure typically involves:
- Blood draw — typically 10-60 mL of blood drawn from my arm
- Centrifugation — blood is spun in a closed-system PRP kit to separate the platelet-rich layer
- Topical or local anesthetic — applied as needed for patient comfort
- PRP injection — into the treatment area using fine needles or, in some cases, applied topically with microneedling
- Procedure duration — typically 45-90 minutes total
Exosomes are NOT used at Navara Health. Only autologous PRP is administered.
Applications & Treatment Areas
